What song makes you want to get up and dance?

"That's a tough one, because I can find any song to dance to for any reason. But if I was forced to choose just one, it would be 'Paradise City' by Guns N'Roses. It make me want to rock out."

What book has made the biggest impact on how you think about life?"

"Letters To A Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke. I just stumbled upon it on my bookshelf a few weeks ago and thought, 'I have to reread this.' I read it for the first time a few years ago, and it jsut stuck with me."

What was the last dream you had?

"Oddly enough, it was about a crew guy on AMC. I dreamed that he was taking care of me, and the very next day, I did a scene where Kendall was in the hospital, and he's the person who tended to me between scenes! How weird is that?"

If you could hyponotize anyone for a day, who would it be and what would you have them do?

"I'd hyponotize Madonna, and have her be my slave."

What's something people would be suprised to know about you?

"That I want to hyponotize Madonna, and make her my slave!"

Happy Holidays from All About Alicia Buzz from SOW -Some actresses would kill to get carded, but not AMC's Alicia Minshew. She couldn't even party at ABC's SSW bash, and she was one of the main attractions! "I got to the party, tried to order a glass of wine and the man carded me," she explains. "I thought, 'I'm getting ID'ed. This is cool!' But I didn't have my ID, so he owuldn't serve me. I said, 'C'mon, I'm practically a hag. I'm here with work.' He said, 'Absolutely not.' Everyone else had a glass of wine--people younger than me!" So Minshew called in the big guns. "I brought Mr. Brian Frons, president of ABC Daytime, over and he said, 'This is a work even and this is one of our actresses. I'm the president of ABC. She is definitely of age.' The guy said no to Brian! So we basically had to smuggle me drinks all night. I felt like I was 20 again." Question from SOD: What are the best and worst holiday gifts you've recieved? "As a joke, one time my mom took big lumps of coal and rocks and stuffed them into my stocking, just to mess with me, so the worst gift would be the lumps of coal. As for the best gift, it's never a materialistic thing. There was one occasion where my entire family was together, both sets of parents and all my sisters. That was a wonderful gift; we all sort of pitched in money to fly everybody out so we could be together. That, or the great pairs of shoes I bought myself[laughs].
