Rendall on Fire! There is a certain sizzle that is ripping through Pine Valley. Can you see it? Can you feel it? It's the spark that long has disappeared from Kendall and Ryan's relationship. The old feelings, and the old heat is back! After a long absense there is a sure something going on with this couple and in this special Rendall Issue we take a look back into just what made this couple worth watching and rooting for. From the Beginning Let's face it, when soaps introduce a couple, it almost never is a fast romance. Sometimes it is a quick romp in the sack, but the other route is a tortue hate test and then the couple realizes they love eachtoher. Ryan and Kendall started this way actually. There was this love hate thing going on and then as time wore on, the couple realized just what the heat between them meant...LOVE. Probably one of the best things about Rendall is how much they have changed since the first day Ryan saw Kendall at the Pine Cone. Kendall was this fiesty woman that wanted revenge on Erica like there was no tomorrow, and Ryan was soon becoming a loner while holding on to his wonderfulness, after his wife died. Ryan thought Kendall a "brat" and Kendall thought Ryan "six-pack". Oh how the times have changed from the early days of bickering, laughing, and annoyance that made this couple so fun to watch. Kendall has grown into a caring and loving women without losing the spark that she so desperately needs, and Ryan has gone from bad to good to bad to good while keeping a mixture of it all within him. Perhaps it is the relationship itself that has changed Ryan and Kendall so. Yes there have been many other relationships between the on again off again rollercoaster of Rendall, but in the end there is an influence that brings them together. Experience If one thing remains true throughout everything, it is that Ryan and Kendall have lived an eternity within a few short years. They have undergone explosions, shootings, trials, loss, gain, and most of all eachother. All the hard times they were together, maybe not as a couple, but what they have endured has brought them to where they are. So much happens in the little town of Pine Valley, and Ryan and Kendall can certainly stand by that. Experience has made this couple thrive, grow, and mature. To look beyond the flaws of what they started with to now....well, there is a wide accomplishment. And now the couple is going to have a child. Both parents bring with them their own troubles, hauntings, and questions that follow them from their pasts. Kendall considers adoption despite the fact that she never fit in with her adoptive parents. Ryan lives with the anger and fear of what his father unleashed upon him growing up. Both parents are beyond the happy "family" thoughts that most expecting parents encounter. But in the end the decision will be made. Lives will be tested. And one can only hope that Ryan and Kendall stand by eachother through it all and give us our desperate taste of the Lavery's as a family. Fire It's funny how a symbol is used to show something. In Rendall's case fire is by far the biggest challenge, and symbol for this couple's journey. Their relationship ended the first time when Kendall was accused of setting the fire that burned Erica's house down and almost killed Chris and Ryan. Kendall was desperate to clear her name, sacrificing her relationship in the process. The second fire was when Kendall and Greenlee were trapped at the RoadSide bar, and Janet set a fire that Ryan rescued them from. It seems that every hardship is marked with a silver lining. Kendall will still push away those she can't trust, Ryan will forever feel compelled to seek out a replacement to his beloved Gillian all the while reminding us that through it all Rendall's happiness is perhaps the biggest challenge of all. -------------------------------------------

As Kendall and Ryan spent more time together, they realized how much they actually like one another. After Kendall kept ruining chance after chance with Ryan, they eventually gave in and they shared their first kiss.
Even though Kendall had a wonderful relationship with Ryan, she still managed to cause problems with her family. When Bianca's room was mysteriously set ablaze, it was of course Kendall who took the fall. Almost killing Chris Stamp, and Ryan, Kendall was charged with arson and this would be the first downfall to the Rendall relationship. Ryan vowed to stand by Kendall through it all, but she couldn't help but take this as a chance to prove her innocence, despite Ryan's wishes. ----------------------------------- Rendall --Round Two
It led to the couple hating eachother, and Ryan ultimately wed Greenlee, but not before Kendall gave one last shot at renewing yet another round with Ryan. Of course by this time, Ryan was fed up with the on again off again, and gave it all to Greenlee. Kendall spent the next year hating the duo and she made sure to let them know it. But, the hate wouldn't last, as things changed and brought Kendall and Greenlee to a better place when Jack and Erica wed. Soon Kendall would put the hate behind her and join in the couple's happiness, and when Ryan "died", Kendall was completely by Greenlee, offering to carry Greenlee's baby. |

Family soon to come
Will this couple last? With a baby Lavery on the way, will they finally give into the passion that is quickly growing between them? Kendall doesn't feel the maternal thing inside her, but Ryan is slowly growing fond of the idea of raising his child. He is picturing his little boy growing up with his nose and Kendall's smile and sense of humor. Ryan can picture it all, but Kendall still needs time. Is Kendall willing to give her child to a loving family as her mother did to her? Lets take a look into what it would be like should the Lavery's become one and raise their child the untraditional way. Kendall and Ryan Parents? Here's a look into the first few months of Kendall, Ryan, and Baby.....(Note this is just hypothetical) Kendall has the little tot and is racing around to get him ready as well as her stylish self. Ryan is in the next room preparing a lovely Saturday morning breakfast for his family. Kendall realizes, that little Ryan is staring up at her with amazement from his crib. Kendall screams for Ryan to come, and he races in. He asks her what is wrong. She just points and Ryan, confused still isn't sure what is wrong. Kendall says that she wanders why he is looking at her so, and Ryan replies that the little guy is just admiring his mother. It hasn't soaked in yet that Kendall is a mommy and while she is starting to get the hang of it, little things still bother her. Why does Ryan feel more than she does? Why can't she accept the little baby as hers? Many things factor into this, but when the baby takes an admiring look into his mother's eyes, Kendall begins to feel. She begins to feel the connection that she has long craved. He depends on her. He needs her. And no one has ever needed Kendall like that before. ------------------------- The next step in this troubled relationship is the decision that Kendall and Ryan will soon face. Do they keep their baby and attempt to raise him to the best of their ability. Or do they try at the hardest thing of all and send him to a loving family that can give more than the ever could? Stay tuned. |
