All About Alicia wishes everyone a happy and safe holiday season! AMC loses more and more great actors...A serial killer strikes Pine Valley...and more in this issue of the All About Alicia Newsletter.

More actors say goodbye to Pine Valley

Budget cuts and poor writing is leaving many AMC actors pursuing other realms of their acting ablilities. In the last issue we said farewell to the very talented Vincent Irizzary and it appears that another farewell is in order.

Julia Barr's 30 year run on AMC is coming to a close very soon as well. With even more cuts and quittings, many Pine Valley fans are fearing the worst of their favorite muse. Is AMC leaving our daytime slot for good? While no information on this rumor is for certain, the ground work may have already been set when so many great actors/actresses are saying goodbye to a show they

once called home. And with a serial killer soon to be wreaking havoc on many PV residents(see storyline info below) it is even more reason to believe that something is certainly changing behind the scenes.

All I can say is that I wish the best to the actors that will soon be leaving the canvas, and wish that TPTB would get their acts together and maybe get rid of some of the unpopular characters instead of the vets that made AMC...well...AMC.

Serial Killer to Strike Pine Valley?

As if the stories weren't crazy enough, a serial killer is going to be wreaking havoc on Pine Valley and many of its citizens. With this crazy murderer on the loose, who will be the unlucky victims? Without revealing any information, All About Alicia has compiled a list of who SHOULD be leaving Pine Valley instead of who will fall vicitm to the crazy killer.

Colby Chandler: we have all had a little too much of this whiney spoiled brat.

Sydney: Actually all of the teens could leave Pine Valley for a better world at this point.

Di/Del Henry: They could have been great characters, but the writers just don't use them. If they aren't going to get any better airtime, then they might as well fall vicitm to the serial killer's wrath although, Dixie and Tad surely don't need another loss.

Julia Santos: Perhaps the biggest let down was when she came back only to have both her sisters leave. The Santos family was once a great aspect of AMC, but now there is nothing left.

Babe Carey: Can't say that too many would be unhappy with her departure in Pine Valley. After the terribleness that is JR, chances are he, Adam, and Kendall would help the serial killer at this point.

Dani Frye: Another under used soal occassionally popping up at Fusion that might could fall vicitim to the serial killer without much backlash...however with her daddy as chief of police, it would make a great story for him to seek revenge. Maybe a new side of Derek we haven't seen...throwing away all the rules?

Did you Know?

Alicia Minshew is such a pro that you probably couldn't tell, but when AMC's Kendall first fell into her coma, the actress was a little under the weather herself. "Thank God that Kendall is not doing so well these days," she jokes. "It's so ironic that Kendall is going through this crisis and I sort of am, too." After food poisioning put Minshew out of commission, she did something she hadn't done in her entire time at the soap:call in sick. "In all my four and a half years, I've never missed one day of work," she says. "It felt weird knowing I had to work but not being able to go in." When she did make it back to the studio, Minshew found Mrs. Slater's bed rest was just what the doctor ordered. She says thankfully, "I got to just lie in the hospital bed and breathe."

-Meet Your Moderator-

A special thank you and appreciation is going out to our very own moderator dolphin_tx(Mandy). When I am unable to maintain the Yahoo Group, or don't catch a SPAM post in time she always stays on top of it.

She has been a valued member of the group since 2004 and has been a moderator for quite some time. She helps run the board and is a wonderful asset. Please take a little time to wish her thanks for all she does and for staying with us for so long.

The other special thanks goes out to our second moderator jessianjel(Jessi). She has also been a great asset to the group and have worked together since 2003. A lot of work goes into the upkeep of a group, and she has been a dedicated moderator to the group from the beginning.

We may not see a lot of these ladies, but the work behind the scenes, and even though the group can get slow, these two are still putting in time to make sure everything runs the way it should for all the members! Thanks for all the work!
