[Twins: A Cop Out?]

 

Twins are certainly not a new concept for soaps. In fact it seems like anytime a favorite character might get an unexpected visit from their look-alike. Some twins know they have a look-alike sibling. Others find out the hard way or not at all. Twins sometimes are the answer to a actors return!

 

To take a look through the many twins in PV would take a while but to name a few:

 

Adam and Stuart

Frankie and Maggie

Natalie and Janet

Lily and Ava

 

So with this ever growing list, I ask you, do you like the use of twins in AMC? Is it just a ploy to bring characters back or to shake things up? Sometimes it takes a way from the realism of the stories to think that any character may return by having a long lost twin. But in some cases, i.e. Adam and Stuart, it wouldn't be the same without the both of them.
